Fading Memories

We make memories
My friends and I
But they don't last
Those times don't stay for long
They vanish and we wish they would
Come back.
Show their faces
Show images of what
Was once there
I think about those times
And I think about all of us together
The good times from long ago
But when I am gone
Those memories go with me
Never to return again.
